How to bulk import CSV Spreadsheet files

There are 3 simple steps on how to properly bulk import individual prices for your online store. 

1. Download the current CSV spreadsheet template 
2. Alter the downloaded spreadsheets individual prices
3. Upload the completed CSV spreadsheet.

Download the current CSV spreadsheet template

1. Launch the app and click Discount Groups.

2. Choose  Bulk Import.

3. In the Bulk Import Individual Prices section, click the link under Download Template.

4. Check the progress of the download under the  Bulk Import Job Progress section. The description should say Downloading and Mailing CSV file and when the progress bar reaches 100%, that means the file is completely downloaded and sent to the email address on file.

Alter the downloaded spreadsheets individual prices

1. Retrieve the downloaded CSV file from the previous step and save the attachment from the email we sent. 

2. Open this CSV file in a spreadsheet client such as Google Sheets or Mac Numbers. 

IMPORTANT: If you are using Microsoft Excel, you need to format the file first. To do this, check this article. 

3. Locate the appropriate column and insert the individual price for that discount group and product variant. In this example, we are setting a couple of individual prices for our Diamond discount group. The prices are 95 and 85 for two product variants.

4. Save the file when finished. We're now ready to upload this updated CSV spreadsheet file. 

Upload the completed CSV spreadsheet.

1. Click the Choose file button from the Import CSV section and select the CSV file you just updated. 

2. Click the  Import CSV button.

3. Check the progress of the download under the   Bulk Import Job Progress section. The description should now say Importing your CSV File and when the progress bar reaches 100%, that means the file is successfully imported.

Possible issue:

I clicked Download Template but I haven't received anything yet.

If you have not received the email containing the CSV file after downloading the template, considering the following:

• Check the progress bar in the Bulk Import Job Progress section and make sure the green bar reaches 100%.
• After completing the job, please allow a few minutes for the email to appear.
• Emails are sent to your main Shopify admin email.
• Please check all folders for the mail. The subject line begins with "Wholesale Hero Prices CSV" and is sent from help+wh@boosterapps.net via mg.boosterapps.com.
