Enabling pre-orders

Not all the time that we have a shelf-full of products, so to speak when customers place their orders. There are times that restocking is delayed and we do not want our customers to go somewhere else to make their purchases.

To make sure customers can still pre-order the product they desire when it is out of stock, you can adjust a few settings. Follow the easy steps below:

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Products.

2. Click on the product that you want to enable pre-orders on. In this example, we choose Cool Kicks.

3. Scroll down to the Inventory section and check the box to continue selling even when it's out of stock.

4. Click Save.
